For all bird lovers out there. Here's one recipe your pets will surely love and most important is that it's cheap and especially made by you.

• 1 cup suet
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 3 cups corn meal
• 1/2 cup flour (preferrably whole wheat)

1. Melt suet in a saucepan over low heat.

2. Add peanut butter, stirring until melted and well blended.

3. Mix the rest of the ingredients together in a large bowl.

4. Allow the suet-peanut-butter blend to cool until slightly thickened, then stir it into the mixture in the bowl. Mix thoroughly.

5. Pour into muffin tins (about half full) and freeze. You can place these in suet holders. Or do not freeze and spread it on a tree trunk or onto wire mesh attached to a board.

This attracts all types of birds.
